Meet us in the Georgetown store between 8:00-8:30 AM for a guided forest bathing walk with Nature Forward in nearby Rock Creek Park, led by certified Forest Therapy Guide, Adria S. Zeldin! Forest Bathing, if you don't know, allows us to slow down, awaken our senses, and connect with nature. You will be invited to participate in gentle activities designed to engage your senses and tune into the sounds, smells, textures, and sights around us in nature. Please wear comfortable shoes, dress for the weather, and feel free to bring a stool, chair, or pad to sit on. We will provide some stools for those who do not have one. Also, feel free to bring water, especially if the weather is hot.Â
After gathering in the store, we will leave for the site at Montrose Park around 8:30 AM and aim to be back in the store by 10:00-10:30 AM. The walk over will be about 1/2 mile. After returning, we'll be joined in the store by Nature Forward and Climate Mental Health Network as they will discuss ways to get involved in, and better connect with, your outdoor spaces. Also, Others Coffee will join us in the store to provide refreshments to kick-start your Sunday! We hope to see you there.Â
